Lambing has finished for another year.  Photo above shows Hawthorns Sally Ann with her ram lamb sired by Redmarley Arpeggio.  Hawthorns Ali did not have triplets, she produced a lovely set ot twins, one ram and one ewe lamb. 

My two AI'd ewes lambed last night, a single ram lamb and a set of twin ram lambs, three very nice lambs sired by "Redmarley Arpeggio".  Six ewes left to lamb, "Hawthorns Ali" is huge and I am wondering whether she may have triplets as she has another ten days to go.  Once lambing has finished, I will get into show mode, Royal Highland and Great Yorkshire Show Schedules arrived this week and I have been looking at the Three Counties Schedule on their web site.  At the moment the weather is so cold, June seems along way off.

9 ewes left to lamb, just over half way.  This weekend saw the birth of two single ewe lambs from "Hawthorns Katie" and "Hawthorns Layla"  both sired by Lordyn.  Nothing yet from the two AI ewes, but both imminent.
